COMPUTER EDUCATION

DESCRIPTION

A variety of classes, tutoring services and user groups are aimed at increasing computer literacy and developing work skills.
ELIGIBILITY Some classes have age limitations and prerequisites.
FEES Fees vary and range from Free - $40.00 per class.
HOURS Hours vary, please call for information.
APPLICATION Register for classes at the 4th Street Computer Lab.


PUBLIC ACCESS COMPUTER CENTER

AGE RANGE   All ages; participants under 18 must have parental permission to use the internet.
DESCRIPTION   Provides computers equipped with high-speed internet connection, business, web and game software, scanner, color printer and laser printer. Participants are limited to a single one-hour session when other users are waiting for a computer. Some help may be provided to users with limited skills.
ELIGIBILITY  Public access. The computer lab reserves the right to refuse or limit service to users who have violated lab policies.
FEES  There is no fee to use a computer or to access the internet. There is a per-page charge to print: text & small graphics/color & laser(.10) and large graphics/color & laser (.25).
HOURS M-W-F: 10:00 am - 5:00 pm
T-Th: Noon - 5:00 pm
APPLICATION Participants complete a one-page application / user agreement form.

 

COMPUTER GAME NIGHT

AGE RANGE All ages. Under 18 must have parent's permission to use the internet.
DESCRIPTION Computer game competition.
ELIGIBILITY Participants must have an application / user agreement on file with the computer lab.
FEES

No fee

HOURS Every other Fri-Sat: 8:00 PM - 12:00 Midnight
