Administrative Overview
The Southwest New Mexico Chapter of the American Red Cross is
responsible for eight counties (Dona Ana, Luna, Hidalgo, Grant,
Sierra, Lincoln, Otero, Chavez). The organization is run by 8
paid staff members and 196 volunteers.
Mission Statement
The Southwest New Mexico Chapter of the American Red Cross helps
people prevent, prepare for and respond to emergencies.
Additionally, the Red Cross provides for emergency communication
between military and family members.

Emergency Communication for Active Duty Military
| DESCRIPTION |
EMERGENCY COMMUNICATION FOR ACTIVE DUTY MILITARY- In case of
family emergency, the Red Cross will verify details and
contact the family members where he/she is stationed. It will help to expedite speedy transportation when necessary.
