Mission Statement
Gardner Learning Center is a comprehensive, rural, public and coeducational facility that serves the people of Sierra County, New Mexico and its surrounding areas. The Center is committed to excellence in teaching and to providing relevant education that is affordable, accessible and of the highest quality in order to enhance the quality of life in our community.

Administrative Overview
Works with local industry, government agencies, K-12 educational systems and community groups to design and present training programs focused on workforce development. Provides college coursework and related resources and learning programs. Offers academic advisement, career enrichment and basic adult education.

DESCRIPTION Provides admitting and registering into Western New Mexico University (WNMU) and other college classes, assistance in starting the process to obtain financial aid and advising for courses in a college degree plan.
ELIGIBILITY High school diploma, current enrolement or GED certificate.
FEES> Application/registration fee and set tuition fees (see WNMU course catalog for details). Financial aid packages and programs are available.
APPLICATION Call or visit to apply. Provide High School and College transcripts, college financial aid letters and evidence of college grants and scholarships. Application for WNMU financial aid programs requires additional documents.
DESCRIPTION GED testing is offered to those who have not completed high school and wish to take the series of tests to demonstrate that they have the skill and knowledge equivalent to completion of high school, and be awarded an equivalent General Education Diploma.
