Rose reported that the "Diving for Nickels" event went very well. We tossed over 20 rolls of nickels to the various age groups and made sure that no child went away without a bag of nickels. The newspaper coverage was good. Rose will put an article in next week's papers thanking everyone who attended and those who purchased "Roof Us" T-shirts. We will try to have one on display at the pool, where orders may be placed, or called in to Elsie Clark at 744-5765. The prices will be: small to XXL - $15.00, 2X - $17.00, and 4X - $20.00. We are discussing the possibility of also selling them at Alco and the Dairy Queen. Kori Mannon will also be taking orders at the Jungle Gym.

Mick is still talking to the pool maintenance man about piping the hot water from the solar system directly into the pool. He will contact Norman Carter to see if this is a possibility. We would like to use the old bathhouse as a concession for the pool and T-shirt sales. Mick will try to find out from Norman if we can do so.

Other items on the agenda for us to check out are: Asking for donations from VFW, American Legion, etc.; getting the donated swim pass to a child.

Our next meeting will be August 3, noon, at the library. The next general meeting will be 5:30pm, August 25th at the computer lab.
