The committee discussed our job description and decided that it is to promote public awareness of the Roof Us Project.

Marcia received the final prices from Desert Graphics for the T-shirts. Large to XXXL in white with the colored logo will cost us $6.95, $7.95 for color. 4X will cost $12.95. The set up charge for the screen will be $60.00. Of course tax will be charged on the total order. We will have to pay ½ down to start the printing. We would like to start with an order of 30 shirts, 10 large, 10 XL, 9 XXXL, and 1 -4X . Marcia will find out from Jane Greene how much money we have available to purchase the T-shirts. We plan to have some available for sale during the Diving for Nickels project at the pool , 4 pm on July 17th. Special orders can be placed at that time also. Rose is submitting an article advertising Diving for Nickels and the T-shirt sale in both papers. They are also being invited to take pictures during the event. If they can’t do this, Ruth will take the pictures. We decided on the following prices for the T-shirts: Small to XXXL - $15.00, 4X – 20.00. Thanks to donations, we will have 10 rolls of nickels to toss. We plan to divide the age groups as follows: 5-7, 8-10, 11-13, 14-16, 17+

The banner has been delivered to the pool and should be hung this week. Laminated posters will also be placed at the pool.

Marcia is going to check on making a presentation asking for donations, at the Rotary Club meeting. We also plan to check with VFW regarding helping with bingo for a donation.

Our next marketing meeting is planned for Tues, July 19th at the library. This deviates a bit from our regular meeting schedule, but we wanted to meet before the task force meeting on July 21st. We should have a tally of time and money spent by the committee members at that time, and a report of the T-shirt sales and Diving for Nickels projects.
