Congratulations to the 26 volunteers spent Saturday morning making the new Rotary Park more beautiful and usable. The project, sponsored by Keep New Mexico Beautiful, involved planting a 33 tree windbreak, 36 Cottonwo od trees and 75 Buffalo Berry bushes. Locally, the project partners were Sierra Communtiy Council, T or C Rotary, Sierra Soil and Conservation District and Newmann's Nursery. Thanks to everyone. |

HELP New Mexico T or C Head Start will be taking applications for the 2008-09 school year through September 2008. Head Start serves pre-school aged children (3-5 years old, with and without disabilities) from low income families. Information and applications may be obtained Monday-Friday from 8am-4pm at 1407 E.
