Attendees: Janet Smith, Elsie Clark, Ruth Lee, Rose Burrows, Robert Burrows, Jo Morfesy, Marcia Meister It was noted that Ginny Holbrook had done a great job giving the Marketing Committee report to the Task Force meeting on May 24th. She also passed out ballots for selection of the winner in the “Naming Contest”. “Roof-Us” was chosen. The entry was submitted by Nancy Waldeck . She will be contacted to see when she will be available for pictures for the newspapers. We viewed a preliminary logo, designed by Gwen Martin, and decided to go ahead and use it. Wildflower printing will be contacted to enlarge the logo for use on the banner. Marcia and Jo will be in charge of getting the banner painted. Marcia is also going to check on T shirt prices. Janet suggested that we also consider doing sun visors. The pool manager has approved the sale of hot dogs or hamburgers at the pool as fundraisers. Use of the banner has also been approved, as has the Diving for Nickels project. Conducting this by age groups is being considered and Rose will have a final answer next meeting. Our committee will toss the nickels. Robyn Curtis has resigned from the committee. Marcia will contact Mario to set up a time for publicity photos of his donation to the committee. Rose will write the articles for the newspapers. Our next meeting was set for noon, June 8th at the library.
