Marcia brought the banner which she and Jo Morfesy had painted in preparation for us to hang at the pool. We decided to have the other side painted also, and Elsie Clark will take care of that this week.

Final copy of the logo, “Roof Us”, was submitted and approved. Ruth will e-mail the logo to Norma Webster, Betsy Robertson, Kori Mannon, Jane Greene, Donna Sanchez, and Linda Phillips. We plan to print the logo as posters to be displayed around town. Rose suggested that we ask various printing companies to donate this. Ruth will check in Las Cruces with Staples, Office Max, and Kinko. Marcia will check with Wildflower. She is also looking into the cost of having T-shirts, sunvisors, and bumper stickers made up. Mick suggested that we have these items on display and for sale at the pool. Rose said that Alco would be willing to let us use their parking lot for any fundraisers we want to hold.

The pool manager has approved the use of the “open swim” period for our Diving for Nickels project. The date has not been set yet.

The next scheduled meeting of the marketing committee is June 29th at noon at the library. We do plan to attend the “stake holders” meeting with the task force , noon, June 22 at Hodges Restaurant in Elephant Butte.
